I suspect that the video that you saw was using xsim or simtools to integrate with Elite Dangerous. Actuate Motion does have a simtools input plugin, so you could potentially do the same with Actuate Motion.
We've previously looked into Elite Dangerous, and the game does not provide any official way of extracting telemetry data, which means that it would need to be a memory hook plugin. This technique can be unreliable as it is based on reading exact memory locations of the game. If the game is updated, these memory locations can change and therefore the plugin will stop working.
That said, I'll add the game to our list of requests and we can revisit it. Perhaps we can persuade the developers to provide telemetry data!
